Freddy is an Arnold O. Beckman Postdoctoral Fellow in the Institute for Medical Engineering and Sciences at MIT and the In Vivo Microscopy Fellow at MGH. He received his MD-PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He spent his career developing optical imaging methods for diagnostics, surgical guidance, and disease monitoring. He is currently developing nanosensors and imaging platforms for the real-time in vivo monitoring of cancer treatment and drug delivery. He is passionate about healthcare entrepreneurship, public policy, medical education, and cancer research.

Khalil is a PhD student in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) program, where he works on novel neural therapeutic devices. He is passionate translating ideas and concepts from bench to bedside through research and entrepreneurship. Khalil also holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and B.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Bioengineering from the Penn State.

PhD Graduate of the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program. Former Co-Director of MIT HM (2015-16). Chris has also been recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30, MedTech Boston 40 Under 40, and is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper.

Shriya is a PhD student in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) program, developing novel neural regeneration strategies to interface prostheses with human limbs. She is passionate about translational medical solutions and especially interested in global health projects.

Sonia holds a BS in Neuroscience from Duke University, and currently operates as chief of staff for a stealth biotech startup developing a neuromodulation product. Previously, she lead regulatory affairs and clinical trials at a medical device startup developing low-cost diagnostics for chronic conditions, which were launched in global markets. She is transfixed by the power of innovation to transform healthcare, and a fervent believer in empowering individuals and communities to solve their unique challenges through health hackathons.

Liam is a data scientist with a particular passion for healthcare. Beyond using data to answer the 'what,' he uses it to answer the 'why' and 'how' so that we can better understand systemic inefficiencies and make new insights into human health. He is currently pursuing a Master's of Health Data Science at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and is a data scientist at biomedical AI startup nference. When he's not wrangling data, you can find him making disco beats and exploring the world with his wife and their cat.

Kriti is a Ph.D. candidate in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) program, where her research focuses on designing implantable devices to treat peritoneal cancer metastasis and investigating the impact of different chemotherapy dosing regimens on the immune system. She is passionate about translational medical solutions, especially in the areas of global oncology and women's health. When she's not working in lab, Kriti enjoys dancing, traveling, baking, and spending time with her dog.

Bill is the managing director in the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship. In April 2013, Bill was awarded the Adolf F. Monosson Prize for Entrepreneurial Mentoring at MIT. He is the author of Disciplined Entrepreneurship.

Zen is Senior Lecturer in Healthcare Innovation at the MIT Sloan and Entrepreneur-In-Residence for the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship. He has served as founding CEO of three healthcare companies.

Professor Murray is the Associate Dean of Innovation at the MIT Sloan School of Management and the Faculty Director of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship. She is the Co-Director of MIT’s Initiative for Innovation.
